This week on Puppet Tears, we're joined by our good friend Sarah Nolen to talk with us about her storied career as a puppeteer and filmmaker. Currently the artist in residence at the Puppet Showplace Theater in Brookline, MA, Sarah has an incredible background devising works that challenge the boundaries of puppetry both on stage and screen.
We'll talk to Sarah about her early interest in filmmaking, developing her production chops while moonlighting as an improviser, and eventually directing her own television pilot Treeples for her MFA capstone at the University of Connecticut. Don't miss this deep-dive into funny feminism and puppet death!
