We know a lot of people ask 'how do you get to Sesame Street?', but once you're there, what should you say on Sesame Street!? Fortunately, there are talented writers to answer the call - like this week's guest Liz Hara. Liz is a puppeteer and writer who has worked as a writer, performer, and wrangler on Sesame Street, created costumes for The Lion King and Shrek musicals, built for The Jim Henson Company, and is now a writer on a top-secret Untitled Puppet Show.
We talk to Liz about her trajectory as a young talent, discovering puppetry, and using all facets of her artistic knowledge in her professional life. She'll also delve into the importance of costume making for upcoming builders, the trials of writing scripts for puppets, and how to turn Grover into an M&M cookie. Mentions Cam's Grover & Colbert script: read it HERE Release date: July 3, 2019 Hosted by Adam Kreutinger & Cameron Garrity conversation highlightsdownload on itunesmore episodes |
