It's time to play the music, light the lights, and roll out the red carpet as we welcome our first guest to have worked on The Muppet Show -- Louise Gold! She joined the Jim Henson Company during the legendary show's second season where she performed Annie Sue Pig, Lou, and sang in countless musical numbers. Louise also appeared in Spitting Image, The Great Muppet Caper, The Dark Crystal, The Furchester Hotel, and more -- on top of a huge list of theater credits from the West End. You can see her in the upcoming Netflix series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance when it premiers in August.
We'll talk to Louise about her life-long interest in the performing arts, struggling to balance her career as both a traditional actor and puppeteer, and how she's re-discovered her love of puppetry in recent years. Plus, we'll get some first-hand stories about the "dysfunctional family" of performers behind The Muppet Show.
